QR & Barcode Scanner Launcher Terms
By downloading, installing, or using QR & Barcode Scanner Launcher, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the application and remove it from your device.
1. What the App Does
QR & Barcode Scanner Launcher is an Android application that helps you scan QR codes and barcodes, create new QR codes and barcodes, save results in local history, pin selected content to home screen widgets, and optionally use the app as a home screen launcher. Some features open or cooperate with other apps already installed on your device, such as a browser, dialer, map app, contacts app, calendar app, messaging app, or email app.
The app may also present an AI-labeled summary feature inside the history area to organize saved results into simple counts, category breakdowns, and usage insights for easier review. In the current 1.0.1 version, the app may also display app open, interstitial, and native advertisements, use remote configuration to control certain runtime behavior, and use analytics or diagnostics integrations related to operation, attribution, and advertising.
2. Eligibility and Device Responsibility
You are responsible for using the app on a compatible Android device and for maintaining access to your device, operating system, and installed apps. You are also responsible for any network, storage, or carrier charges that may apply when you use related device or third-party services.
3. Your Use of the App
You may use the app only for lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to reverse engineer protected parts of the app beyond what law allows, or use the app to create, store, or distribute unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or infringing content.
You are responsible for the codes, text, links, contact details, calendar details, Wi-Fi details, and other information that you scan, generate, save, share, or export through the app.
4. Optional Launcher Features
QR & Barcode Scanner Launcher can provide optional launcher and home screen features. Setting the app as your default home app is your choice. If you do not set it as the default launcher, the launcher-specific experience may be limited or unavailable, but the scanning and generation tools can still be used where supported by the installed version.
Launcher and widget features may depend on Android version, device manufacturer behavior, system restrictions, and whether certain system roles or permissions are available on your device.
5. Widgets and Shortcuts
The app may allow you to add or request home screen widgets or shortcuts. Widget placement, behavior, and appearance can depend on the launcher environment and Android system capabilities. If a widget cannot be pinned or hosted by the system, that feature may not work on your device.
6. Third-Party Apps and External Actions
When you choose actions such as opening a website, calling a phone number, drafting an email, composing an SMS, saving an image, opening Wi-Fi settings, inserting a contact, or inserting a calendar event, the app may pass the selected content to another app or to Android system components. Those third-party apps and services operate under their own terms and privacy rules.
7. Advertising, Configuration, and Measurement Services
The current version may use third-party services and SDKs to support advertising, consent handling, attribution, analytics, diagnostics, and runtime configuration. These may include Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config, the Google Play Install Referrer service, Meta/Facebook SDK components and app event tools, and developer-operated reporting interfaces.
These integrations may be used to request and display ads, decide whether ad requests are allowed, manage remote feature switches, measure app events or ad-related events, diagnose crashes, understand acquisition channel information, and support automatic app login or reporting flows tied to an installation-scoped identifier rather than a manual user account.
For additional information about some third-party services used by the current version, you may review the following official resources:

8. Intellectual Property
The application, its design, interface elements, branding, text, graphics, and software components are owned by or licensed to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.
9. Availability and Changes
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available, error-free, or compatible with every device, launcher environment, Android version, consent state, third-party service, advertising supply, or third-party app.
10. No Professional or Safety-Critical Reliance
QR & Barcode Scanner Launcher is a convenience tool. You should independently verify scanned or generated content before relying on it for purchases, navigation, account access, device setup, legal commitments, business transactions, or other sensitive decisions. The app is not designed for emergency, medical, legal, or safety-critical use.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, ad delivery outcomes, attribution outcomes, or device issues arising from your use of the app, your use of scanned or generated content, or your interaction with third-party apps and services.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may limit or discontinue access to all or part of the app if required for legal, technical, operational, or security reasons.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the app, together with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after the updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
14. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms of Use, you can contact the developer at sonysonyaa40@gmail.com.
These terms are intended to reflect the current feature set of QR & Barcode Scanner Launcher as of July 24, 2026 and should be reviewed again whenever material launcher, widget, data, or advertising features are added.
